I bought these for biking in winter. Agree with others that these tights run small so order one size up. I'm petite (5'3") and the medium is the right length for me (stops at ankles). Fleece lining is very comfortable and soft and I immediately felt warm after putting them on. I've worn this on one short bike ride in low 30s temperature and they're fine, but maybe not as good for wind protection as my more expensive $30 athletic leggings. I would probably just wear these under regular clothes or with skirts because they're so comfortable. Haven't had these for too long so don't know how they'll hold up over time.
