Unlike some, I was simply trying to shape or create more of waistline than 10 months of gym work was giving me. And similar to women's shapers you think you can't put it on or keep it on. But I not only hit two buckets of golf balls with it on, I played 18 holes of golf the next day with it on. It is tight because it is supposed to be. But it also helps with your back if you have any trouble in that area. I found 8 hours a day the way it recommends is not hard at all and it does keep you from eating too much and I can see it is working on shape. It also has a second row of hooks so once you use it for a period you can make it even tighter to do more shaping which a few months from now I will do. A good product!
