I selected the waist cincher over the vest because I wanted this for summer and to have to option of wearing with a strapless dress :) So glad that I did. I do plan to purchase the vest for the fall as well. But I can say this added so many bonus points to my figure! I am plus size (16) and it did just what is was supposed to do...I will admit it seemed a bit uncomfortable at first, in the back area, but it's still new and I was hoping it would go away once broken in. This morning I tried to see what it looked like with 2 of the bottom hooks unsnapped and that took away all the uncomfortable feelings! Now it's perfect!!!!!!!!
