Does the job.

I wear a back support that caused flab to hang over the top and a really strange appearance. I thought that this might help. It did and gave me or more or less flat front. In the process I discovered that I could dispense with the back support most of the time: this vest is very firm on its own and extends over the lower back. It really should have a second hook and eye (there's one midway on the zipper) at the bottom of the zipper to help the wearer get the zipper started. It takes a few days to get used to and the fabric is quite rough. I wear mine over an undershirt and expect as the weather warms it will be quite hot. But, as I said--it does the job. People have noticed better posture and asked whether I've been working out.
