 Surprisingly pleased |

Ok so I've been wearing this TruFigure waist cincher for about two weeks now and I'm pleasantly surprised. My first faja experience has been with the Ann Chery cincher and that's what I've been used to.
Anyway my first impression of the TruFigure cincher was "wow this looks kinda cheap". It doesn't feel as thick as the other faja I own and the hook and eyes didn't seem as sturdy as my Ann Chery. I put it on the first time on the first row of the hook and eye closure and it was comfortable and stayed comfortable the whole day. This surprised me. I was able to wear it about 10 hours the first day and have been able to do this anytime I wear it now, but I wear it on the 2nd row of the hook and eye closure. Not sure if this means I've shrunk an inch or if the rubber material has conformed to my body better than day 1.
I'm still surprised by the ease and comfort of it. I got the Large size. I'm 5ft tall and 149 lbs and after csections, my abs aren't very nice.
One issue! if you have allergies to latex, this will irritate you. I never realized I was sensitive to latex on my skin but I have itched around my midsection with both TruFigure and Ann Chery and it's the latex even with a layer of cotton over the latex. It's itchy for like a couple of days after you take it off kinda thing but I will still wear it since out of 7 days I wear it about 4 days of the week. Also I still feel like $55.00 is a little pricey. I would put it about $45 if I had control of pricing. I would easily buy more than one. Bottom line: Good product. |

Does what it's supposed to do but I should have sized up |

I own the #2025 style and have that in black and in Large. I bought this #2029 style in Nude and I struggled getting this on. Whew I got desperate and asked my 13 year old and 4 year old to help mommy fasten this. The XL would have probably gone on a bit easier but I'm going to do my best to lose a few pounds. I'm 5ft tall and 149lbs... 2 c-sections later and weak will power and I decided to get a faja which helps me feel better while I move my butt on an exercise regimen ...Anyway ladies, I only wore the #2029 for an hour and a half the first day and I did not eat much with it on ... So I guess that's a good thing. I weighed a little less when I bought the 2025 style so I think that's why this 2029 in nude was a little more challenging to get on... I broke a sweat.
This faja will definitely hold in your stomach and push up your bust as well. Even if you sized up, this would still do the trick. |

I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm glad I ordered the large. I'm 5ft tall and weigh 144 lbs. the large is perfect and I fasten it on the first row of hooks. There's no way I would have been able to get in if I ordered the medium.
You will definitely have good posture and it's not uncomfortable to wear or eat while wearing.
I did find that where my bra fastens in the back at that level I had back fat that got trapped between there and the cincher because I guess that little bit couldn't fit in but I can work with that. In total, I'd say it took about 5 minutes to get it on and hooked. It is firrrrrm control ladies.
I've had 2 c-sections and just don't have a nice midsection so after years of messing with Spanx or other control garments that helped a bit, I decided on this waist cincher and it's great, it's the best move. Without the cincher I'm a 34inch waist (yuck i know) and with cincher it's 32. |
