| I'm giving an honest review of what I thought of this product. To start off with this product is made of latex, so it is extremely smelly. The next thing is that it's VERY thick (stiff, and not flexible), which makes it very hard to grasp to hook it together (and hot to wear as well) and it took me along time to get it buttoned up. It's also a bit long in length so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's on the petite side. I think it's going to give an hour glass figure but not with comfort and breathable fabric. I have a squeem which is actually better than this and thinner, but the straps on the Squeem don't hold up after a while (they are kind of flimsy) and because of this gave me boob fat. I'm trying the Leonisa next, which was on the Dr. Oz show. |

The BEST shaper I own! |

I own many spandex - panty stomach shapers, two Ann Chery waist cinchers, one Flakisima waist cincher, and this vest.
Once upon a time, my body mass index (BMI) was 21.9 (normal). Now my BMI is 27.4 (over weight). I carry my fat in my middle.
When I started to buy shapers, I started with the store bought spandex/panty type ones that you step into and pull up to your bra. Those did an okay job, but they'd roll down and were difficult to manage when I had to use the bathroom. I stepped up to buying three waist cinchers. The two Ann Chery waist cinchers did a phenomenal job holding my stomach in, however, I discovered that besides the fat on my stomach, I also had a lot of back fat. The cinchers pushed it right up over the top. The Flakisima doesn't push the fat up as much, but the quality is poorer. It's thin and one of the metal shapers already popped through.
After I discovered that I have back boobs, when I wear the cinchers, I stepped up to getting this vest and oh, my goodness, it is the best!! It is worth every penny. It does the same job as a cincher by keeping the stomach pulled in AND it keeps the fat on my back evenly distributed! The vest helps me with good posture and as an added bonus - it gives my breasts an added lift and push.
The latex material is strong and the hooks and eyes are made very well. I can't imagine any of the boning popping out like it did in the Flakisima.
Sometimes the straps on the front rub, but I discovered that once it's all hooked up, I have to pull it down a bit until everything is snug and not loose. It is also a reminder to keep my posture straight, so that it doesn't rub me. I have worn a thin shirt under it, which helps. |
